The Original Sin

It is said that one is borne with the "original sin" and in order to enter the Kingdom of God, one must be Baptist.

In order to understand baptism, we must first understand what we are baptizing from, so lets talk about the "Original Sin"

Most people know the story of Genesis in the Bible where it says that God created Man in his own image and gave them everything they needed.   God also told them to eat from all trees except from the tree of knowledge.   The evil in the form of a snake convinced Eve to take a bite from the fruit of knowledge and she gave some to Adam too.   Because of their disobedience (original sin), they were thrown out of paradise and into the world of sins.

Well, Adam and Eve were living in paradise because they were living in God's consciousness. They didn't feel separate from God...God had created them in God's image, so they didn't know about personalities, they were always in a state of union with God.

Since they were borne in a state of union with God, they didn't know the feeling of being separate from God's consciousness.

The moment they allow themselves to identify themselves with their mind, the mind itself (in the form of a snake) convinced them into eating the fruit of knowledge. The moment they allow themselves to take action based on a thought, by choosing, in that moment they became a separate identity and the sense of "I am" started ( After eating the fruit Adam became aware of his nakedness (Gen. 3:1-7)

Once the sense of "I am" is there, then oneness with God's consciousness is lost and Adam and Eve felt from paradise and entered into the world of dualities.

It is thanks through their falling that we have come to be in this world of Maya, illusion, and it is up to us again to either remain in it or to come back to the source, which is known as Self-Realization; realizing your-self as being one with God.

So the "Original Sin" is nothing other than identifying ourselves as "I am"   Man will continue suffering until out of man's will, man decides to come back to the source, the origin, The Soul, in which one remains in a state God' consciousness.

Baptism

Before one is borne, one lives in a state of divine consciousness inside the womb. Once we step out of such environment and the umbilicon cord is broken, one starts to identify him or her with a body and senses and falls under the illusion of "I am this body, etc"

We fall under the illusion that we are a separate body and the sense of "I am" begins to grow.

To be baptized means to be recognize as the son of God.   The seed of God's consciousness is planted in you and with time, such connection will become stronger and stronger.

The act of Baptism is creating a link again between you and God's consciousness.   In order for such link to be created, whoever performs the Baptism, must be a person who is living in God's consciousness.

Just like you get direction to a party from someone who is at the party, the same applies with Baptism. Only he/she who is connected to the source can connect you to the same, otherwise it is not possible and the grace of God will not flow.

Penance - First Communion - The Eucharist

During Jesus's last supper while giving his disciples bread, he said "This is my body," and the cup, saying "This is my blood. Do this is remembrance of me" 1 Corinthians 11:24-25)

First communion means to renew the baptismal promises

When we take our first communion, we take a conscious vow that we are indeed the Son of God.   We eat a piece of bread and we say to ourselves "With this bread I am taking God inside of me"

The whole purpose of taking the Eucharist is to remind ourselves that God is inside each one of us and through doing that we let go of the false identity of "I am" instead, we take a conscious vow that I am the Son of God, I am one with the source, I am the Soul.

In order for this ritual to take place, it is said that one has to take penance first.   The only penance that it is necessary is to renounce the false identity of   "I am" Only that is needed.

Confirmation

Confirmation, just like the first communion, is a reminder. We take a conscious vow that "I am not this body, I am not this mind, I am "The son of God" and therefore man receives God's grace. If one takes such vow with full intention and conviction, one is to enter again in the Kingdom of Heaven, which is to become one with God's consciousness.

Holy Orders

It is said that one is to be ordained as a Priest to promote and/or preach God's work on Earth.

There are two types of preachers in the world:

•  Those who have become through the study of religion and so on, which I call Intellectual Priesthood.   They may know a lot about religion, but have not yet know Religion, meaning they may know a lot about God, but they have not yet reach God

•  Those who have attain Self-Realization through spiritual practices.   They have gone beyond the identification of the body and mind and have reach a state of God's consciousness

The first type preaches because is what he is supposed to do; he is a priest! If you are to be baptized by such priest, nothing much will change, but you can claim you have been baptized!

The second one, his life becomes the preaching.   Wherever he goes, whatever he does, is done with grace and such grace is felt by those around and when he/she is asked "What have you attained?" the common response is "I have not attain anything, I have just awaken!"

If you become initiated or baptized by such Self-Realized being, your life will take a major shift towards the source, towards The Soul and you too will become, when the time is right, One with God

Marriage

Other than to bring another Soul to Earth and/or to support each other in their path, I don't seem to understand the value of such vows yet.
